We are pleased to offer these Window Sill Candle Holders used and made at the Shaker Village in Enfield , New Hampshire , Circa 1870. Similar examples have been sold at Skinner Auction House in Mass. ; see The Shaker Auction of the collections of Richard Klank and Gus & June Nelson October 31, 2003, Catalogue Lot #289; and Willis Henry Shaker Auction, Sept. 4, 2005 - The Doug Towle Collection Lot #379. Believe me when I say that these have not been "cleaned up" they are as found and as seen in the photos. We purchased them at the Estate Sale of Robert Leavitt, well known Lebanon/Enfield historian and Shaker collector. Note: these types of candle holders were also made at Canterbury Shaker Village in New Hampshire . They are 4 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide, at the widest part. Buyer pays $5.50 USPS Priority Mail, insurance is optional; and is extra.
