16/399-355 NINETEENTH-CENTURY CONTINENTAL TANTALUS SET. $400/$600 Condition: The overall condition is good. Loss to gilt on majority of pieces. Evidence of restoration to tip of one of the stops, causing some loss. Chips to a corner of three of the four decanters. Corners of two cordials chipped. Crack in to front veneer on front side. Two more cracks found, one on the left side of the left door and the other found on the bottom side of the right door. Two additional cracks located on the top inside portion of the piece resulted in two areas of loss (0.5` x 0.25` and 0.25` x 0.25`). Very interesting piece.
