Nineteenth Century Symphonion Disk Music Box

This is a wonderful late nineteenth century disk music box with 14 discs. It is labeled Symphonion on the interior lid with a lithograph of children. The mahogany case is7" x 7 1/2" and is in superb condition. It does play, perhaps a little slowly and needs a de-greasing. This is being sold as-is. I do not know the workings of music boxes. It appears that all teeth are present but I cannot see under the mechanism and am not going to take it apart. It winds fine, sounds fine and looks fine. I think it just needs a good cleaning. I believe it has 43 teeth but may have mis-counted one or two. The lithograph is dated 1896 and is also in good condition. No reserve. Someone asked for shipping to Taiwan and I lost your e mail address. It would be $50.00. All items are guaranteed as described. I ship USPS with delivery confirmation. Most smaller items cost $5.00. Insurance is optional at cost. I take Master, VISA and American Express by calling me directly or sending the information in two separate e mails. BOOKMARK THIS SITE!! I will be selling loads of early lighting, pewter, miniature lamps, sterling and other estate items in the coming weeks and months.
