In August of 1995, Nintendo introduced the Virtual Boy, a radical new game system that featured a head-mounted display with 3D graphics. As part of the promotional rollout of Virtual Boy, Nintendo sponsored gaming tournaments at select locations across the U.S. Winners won a special limited-edition "Virtual Boy" jacket. My son, who was 12 at the time, entered one of the Nintendo-sponsored gaming tournaments and won one of the coveted Virtual Boy jackets.

This Nintendo Virtual Boy jacket is made with a high-quality nylon outer shell and a quilted inner liner. The old-school Nintendo logo is embroidered on the front left breast and a large Virtual Boy logo is embroidered across the back. A large heavy-duty brass zipper is used for the front and t is a smaller zipper pocket on the upper left sleeve as well. Front pockets are lined and have a snap closure. Size is a men's Medium.

This rare, collectible Virtual Boy jacket is in excellent, like-new condition - my son rarely wore the jacket and it has been in storage for the past 11 years. T were only a few Virtual Boy jackets made in 1995 and this jacket would be a great find for any serious game collector or enthusiast.
