NIPPON at its finest in this six piece set Delicate pink flowers, with green accent leaves. Lots of gold guilding on the handles and throughout the intricate design the five nut dishes or salt cellars that are approx 2 inches square the larger serving bowl/dish is approx 5 1/2 to 6 inches across the mark is green with what looks like an M and is surrounded by a laurel wreath MORIMURA BROTHERS/ handpainted MORIMURA BROTHERS imported items with this mark between 1911 and 1921 ....taken from articles on marks used on NIPPON I thought I would fine something similar on ebay, but I didn't, and after looking at about 2,000 pieces I have a great appreciation for how many different and beautiful designs from the shape of the dish to the handpainted designs on these treasures.
