For your consideration this week is this beautiful old Nippon Dowsie vase in superb condition made circa 1900. This piece measures approx. 9 1/2''H x 5''W and is beautifully adorned with hand painted designs including a cameo figural portrait of a vailed woman the other cameo has a lovely floral arrangment. Very pretty gold accents and raised paint designs amidst a very deep cobalt blue paneling. This has the green Dowsie mark in addition to an embossed mark on the underside inner rim. I am very pleased to report t are no chips cracks or repairs I will note however t is a firing flaw on the underside foot which resembles a .2''L crack but it is not incurred damage.
