Up for bid is an absolutely stunning hand painted Nippon plate, the brilliance of the colors is second to none. The plate measures approx. 10" in diameter, and approx. 11" from handle to handle. The entire plate is done in gold gilding around the outer rim and along the handles. The scene depicts a beautiful basket of fruit in all its splendor. I have rarely seen a Nippon of this quality, and condition. If you are a Nippon collector, you won't want to pass this one up. You won't come across another like it. The center circle has the Mark- Hand Painted Nippon, with the crest and a letter M in the center. I am starting this out at a low bid, and a $4.00 handling charge. Insurance is required.
