We have a lot of Nippon Maple Leaf Mark 52 items to be listed, as well as some amazing cups and saucers. Stay tuned. We will gladly combine shipping whenever possible. This auction is for an amazing and beautiful Nippon Maple Leaf Mark 52 Raspberry and heavily dotted gold trim footed tea cup and matching bowl. We do not know if there was supposed to be a conventional saucer to go with the cup or if the bowl serves as the saucer. We're selling this pair as though the bowl serves as a saucer. We love Mark 52 Nippon and when you look at this one you know why. This is all hand-painted. The design is stunning and the beaded gold is too. As previously mentioned, there is about a 1" hairline seen on the outside of the cup. It's hard to see on the inside because there is a lot of the hand-painted in that area. This set will display beautifully!! The under-bowl is about 1 1/2" tall and about 5 1/4" wide. The cup is about 2 1/4" tall and about 4 5/8" wide, including the handle. The bowl part of the cup, not counting the handle is about 3 3/4" wide. We will ship to Japan if a special request is made.
