For your consideration is a nippon three footed Moriage vase, with double handles, depicting birds in flight. One bird is done completely in moriage and the other bird is a brown bird flying behind the moriage bird. T is painted leaves and twigs surrounding the vase. Moriage extends both front and back. Vase is unmarked, but definitely Nippon. Blue beading circles the opening, both handles, and the feet. Very early piece of Nippon. condition is very good, everything is in tact with the exception of a couple of small pieces of missing moriage. Does not distract from the beauty of the vase. Legs are applied so from underneath you can see w they join the body. Colors range from a smoky blue grey, to light yellow, shades of brown to an orange (red) tone. Please refer to pictures, they show the colors well.An exceptionally nice piece of early Nippon. buyer to pay actual shipping cost. Insurance required. Will refund purchase price minus shipping cost, if buyer is not satisfied. Must notify me immediately upon receipt of item if a refund is requested. Must be returned within three days of auction close and in original packing and condition. Will issue money back upon safe return and inspection.
