I am a Nippon/Noritake collector. I am listing some of my very personal collections, since I'm running out of room to display all of my beautiful collections. I had decided to down-size a bit, this round I will be listing very rare & beautiful Vases, Urns, Plaque and even Coralene pieces I just do not have the proper space to display them all. Hopefully it will find a good home. This is the only reason I am selling some of my personal sets. Up for auction is a wonderful and rare Moriage Wheat & Floral decor Nippon Vase Ewer. The majority of the moriage pieces come unmarked but this one is marked. The hand painted design features moriage wheat and floral decor over green background. The handle, the neck, and the base have moriage decoration. Please see photos that I had taken for an accurate description of this vase. The vase is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or restorations with little loss to the moriage decor please see photos about 98% of the moriage decor is intact. *Vase measures 8" tall by 7 1/2" in diameter at the widest. The base is marked with a blue mark#70 that states Oriental China Nippon.I took many photos to describe the beauty of this vase , and please let me know if more photos are needed.
