Here is an Absolutely Gorgeous Hand-Painted Roses and Gold Gilded Three-Part Porcelain Covered Urn made by Nippon out of Japan. This Exquisite Urn is a masterpiece with its green background, lots of gold gilding with some fushia inserts, its pair of heavily gold gilded handles and finial, its attached by a bolt base, and the two Hand-Painted Oval Cameo Rose Portraits. This is a Very ornate older piece of Nippon with a couple of flaws that do not take away from its Beauty, such as the small spider-crack on the inside of the lid (does not show through), along with some gold loss around the edge of the lid and on other sections of the Urn and around the handles; an apparent re-gilding around the area of the base joint, noting a repair might have been made with the screw (original or not) in the base holding the base on with a green 'glob' in the inside bottom of the Urn. With all of this being Noted for accuracy, this Urn shows Exquisitely . The Urn measures 11 3/4" tall with out the lid and 15 1/4" tall with the lid, about 8" wide at the handles and has a 5" diameter base. I have seen Urns similar to this one on other sites for more than $1600, yet I am offering this piece for considerable less to expidite its sale.
