up for auction is an exquisite, uniquely designed NIPPON Vase. Circa Early 1900's Pre-Occupied Japan. This is a Rare piece and extremely difficult to find. The Red Back-Stamp is shown in Photo # 12, but to worn to make it out. It is Oriental characters only. This Vase Features a Twisted 3-Handled design elaborately embossed with White Florals and other Oriental designs. The Handles, the Base and the Upper Portion of the Vase are Painted in a Dark Forest Green highlighted with White embossed Florals. See up-close shots in Photo's 7, 8 & 11. The Body of the Vase is Predominately a Deep Pink, and is slightly Twisted as well, see photo's 3, 4, 9 & 10. Heavily embossed on the body of the Vase are tree branches and more Floral designs. These designs "IN RELIEF" continue all the way around the vase in a continuous "unbroken" Pattern. These patterns are also primarily Green but the artist has added Reds, Yellows and Purples to the flower heads. See Photo # 10. This beauty stands 10 1/4" Tall and sits on a 5 1/2" diameter round base. The opening at the top is 2 1/2". This piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! NO cracks, No chips, No flea bites or worn Paint except at the back- stamp. The Embossed patterns are Sharp, fully intact and Crystal Clear. The Dark Pink Color is outstanding in combination with the Forest Green Accents.
