This beautiful Nippon Vase or Nippon Urn...belonged to my Great Aunt...we found it in one of the few last crates from my Aunt's Estate...inside the crate was a large box that contained many Antiques..items from the early 1900's..and all marked "mothers"....No Reserve!!! Just bid away!!! I have heard that t are fakes of Nippon pieces...this has been in the family now for 4 generations..so it is Authentic.... The piece measures approx. 5 5/8 inches high, is about 4 3/8 inches wide at the widest point....The gold on the double-handles has worn about 1/4 percent...This piece would be perfect..yet, on the back is a tiny, tiny "flea bite"...of a chip in one of the flowers....The piece is hand-painted..The mark on the bottom is from the Morimura Company...That is all that I know about the piece..... International bidder feel free to email for postage options...and if anyone has any questions about the vase/urn...please feel free to ask.....Check out my other items !
