UNBELIEVABLE FIND!!
I have a friend who is a sports card collector and recently we made a deal and i ended up with a few baseball cards which I've decided to keep and/or sell; this Nolan Ryan Mets Rookie card being the "Topp" card by far! THE HARD FACTS : This is a 1968 Mets' Rookie Stars BB card for the 1967 season and it is in quite good shape. It is Topps #177 and is exhibiting 2 pitchers: Jerry Koosman and Nolan Ryan. This card has been very well preserved over the years, as it hasn't been removed from its hard, plastic screw-on covering with for decades - The card's colors are bright and vibrant, the corners are sharp, and it displays ZERO wrinkles - The are 2 flaws: #1 - a small tear on the front right/Ryan side along the black boarder, hat level measuring only about 2 mms at the boarder then extending back to the edge of the card at about a 2 cm diameter, #2 - a few small, dark spots with some light discoloration on the back of the card's lower left side - THIS IS A GREAT, HARD TO FIND BB CARD AND IS ALSO QUITE HARD TO PART WITH...... that being said.... And Comics will always be preserved and stored in arid, unlit conditions and then graded by industry standards as per the Ofiicial Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide - Sports cards are always kept and sold in industry standard plastic shells/covers with varying density or "depth", some being flexible some not, depending on the specific card. ...seriously, no messin around at bgf !
