Top cutting edge sharpened. Brass double hilt. 4 ½" leather handle. Duralumin butt cap. A light-weight military design knife. Supplied with Model A sheath. Summary: loaded with hard to find options, this is a non-catalog Randall Combat Companion for consideration. It's a very handsome knife -- 's what you're looking at: a non catalog Randall Combat Companion with a 5" stainless blade, single brass hilt, custom spacers, and an awesome straight ebony handle with lanyard. And if that's not enough... you'll find a compass embedded in the butt end. This ebony is superb with great coloring and without chips or checks. (the line in the wood you see near the lanyard on the logo side is wood grain and not a check or crack) The knife is in unused condition with original edges. A bit of tarnish on the hilt from past "in sheath" storage" -- this should come off quickly with a firm buffing. The sheath is a brown Sullivan model A with a Fine India sharpening stone in the pouch. The sheath is stamped CC on the back to designate the model. The knife has been stored extensively in the sheath -- probably since new. T are very dark lines from storage at the throat and on the keeper strap . As seen in the photos, a new green canvas and water buffalo hide carry case is included. One of my favorites -- it's extremely durable and very nice looking. The knife will be packed carefully inside "out of sheath" for shipping -- the Randall care / instruction sheet will be with it.11 photos below -- this is a very nice non catalog Randall loaded with options.
