This is a Norge 1945 ladle/spoon male figural man 830 sterling silver, all hallmarked. It is 4 oz., marked Brutt Blev Lenker Band OG Tuang meaning "Broken were chains, ties and Tyranny", chain work surrounds top rim of the bowl and down onto the sides. Norway post war considered very patriotic and appropriate in those years. Inscribed on the back a capital "C" Julen 1948. 7 1/2" long by 2 1/2" bowl, by Nathaniel Mills.
