This is the beautiful high end discontinued (1997-2005) pattern by Noritake, called Gourmet Garden. White,Sri Lanka, Japan Pattern # 7940. This pattern is referred to as Casual Gourmet with a green laurel band around the edges and some variety of large lovely flower in the center of the plate. This china has been created to mix and match. Use dinner plates, luncheon plates, soup/salad bowls and cups and saucers with different floral patterns in any combination you desire. So pretty and cheerful. Nice enough to use daily or for special occasions. Also a wonderful weight that does not chip or break easily. This china is in very good gently used condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. I am selling six, 5piece place settings. Each will have a variety of floral patterns in the place settings. It is hard to find this many place settings all at once to get you started on your collection. If you need new china and have been putting off buying it, china that will set a beautiful Martha Stewart type table, this is your chance!
