We came across this piece which is truly Art Deco. It is made by Noritake with the green Morimura mark on the back. As you can see this is a unique piece. It looks like it would be direct from the 1920's era. The girl definitely looks as though she is a flapper girl writing love notes to her gentleman callers and by her side is her trusty cat. The colors are great with a cream background and a black edge. T is minimal paint loss along the edge~hardly noticeable but mentionable. T are no surface scratches. This was used for decoration purposes. T are two holes on the backside to run string through for hanging~sorry the string is missing. Still a great piece and rare, very hard to find.
