Up for consideration is a beautiful 12 place setting lot, with all the serving pieces, of Noritake China in the Avon 5531 pattern. This a discontinued Noritake pattern whose short production run was only from 1954-1959. It features a main beige band on the outside that is bordered / highlighted with 3 gold bands around a beige, gold, and brown floral display in the middle. A very nice looking fine china pattern. This lot has everything you would ever need to complete your pattern collection with plenty of extras to spare. Please look at all the pictures to get an idea of the great shape all 87 pieces are in. 12 each of the 10 1/2" dinner plates 12 ea of the 7 3/4" soup / cereal bowls 12 each coffee cups 12 each coffee cup saucers 12 ea of the 8 1/4" bread plates 12 each of the 6 1/2 tea plates 11 each of the 5 3/8 berry bowls 1 each of the sugar bowl with lid 1 each of the creamer 1 each of the 10 3/4 serving bowl 1 each of the 11 1/2 X 16 1/4 platter. Each of these 87 items are near mint to mint. T are no chips, cracks, crazing, incomplete / chipped off patterns, incomplete gold highlight bands, or glaringly visable utensil marks. Again the gold bands and center art are 100% throughout. They have never seen a dishwasher or microwave in their life. The Noritake seal is bright blue and brown like it should be, not faded at all. I bought these at an estate sale and the lady who owned them had them packed away for the last 35 years according to her daughter. The newspapers they were wrapped in when I bought them were all dated 1972. She said her mom used them for special occassions over the years but not as everyday china. Again this is a great lot of classic Noritake china at a stunningly low price. The replacement people want over $750 for all this plus and additional $150 P+H. I am asking a lot less. Buy with complete confidence, see my feedback and see all the multiple china sales I have shipped successfully. P+H is via USPS or UPS whichever is cheaper or your preference. Insurance is extra and is totally your call. If your stuff gets trashed on its journey to you without insurance, its not my problem. The entire 87 piece set will ship in 2 boxes each weighing about 25-35 pounds. You can use the USPS or UPS rate calculater to get a good idea about the shipping cost to your zip code. Unfortunatley, the ebay site will not let me list 2 packages for one sale using their calculater. If you live in the Cleveland Ohio area, an in person P/U or delivery is very possible. Also if you do not want the entire 87 piece set, I'll gladly pack what you want and rerate the the postage costs to the new lower weight to save you money. I use brand new packing materials, bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts so your stuff will arrive in one piece. Any questions, please write and ask. I leave feedback for everyone who leaves it for me. That way I know you got your stuff and are a happy camper. See the feedback and bid with complete confidence. My only 2 negs are from deadbeat bidders who can't seem to read the ad, play by Ebay's rules, or understand English. 99.9 is a stellar rating.
