This auction is for a Noritake Deco cigarette cup. Although I bought this piece by itself--because that is all that was available--it was originally part of a 3-piece smoke set. It pictures a woman on a golf green, with a building and trees in the far background, and a flag closer in. The woman, who is in the foreground, is getting ready to take a swing at the ball. The cigarette cup measures 2 1/4" high x 2 1/4" wide. The condition is excellent. All the luster is intact, as is the gold around the rim.The backstamp is maroon, and has an M inside a wreath, with NORITAKE written above the wreath. Below the wreath are the words HANDPAINTED and MADE IN JAPAN . On this piece, the glaze also covers the bottom, so the backstamp is also under the glaze.To all bidders: Please wait until I send you an invoice before you attempt to send payment.
