This is a most beautiful set of 6 matching cups and saucers accompanied by a matching chocolate pot. This set was manufactured by Noritake, probably around 1920 - 1930. The decoration is very elegant with hand painted irises, which actually is an art nouveau motif, but this set has more of an art deco feel. It is accented in gold. The mark on the base is Noritake "M in Wreath Japan in green". The set is in mint condition, with no chips, cracks, crazings, etc. T is no gold wear, which is amazing. The chocolate pot is 9 inches high and 7 inches from handle to spout. Each cup is 2 ½ inches high. The starting price for the set is $75.00, WITH NO RESERVE. Purchaser pays $25.00 for the cost of shipping and insurance if shipped within the continental U.S. If shipped outside the U.S., I will calculate the postage and insurance for you after the sale. Please note we do not accept credit cards, although I do accept PayPal even if you pay PalPal through a credit card . I also accept personal checks and money orders payable in US dollars drawn on a US branch of a US bank. Please also see my other listing of a Nippon chocolate pot.
