NORITAKE CHRISTMAS DISHES "TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS" Pattern 8100, 1996-1999 Set Includes: 8 Dinner Plates 10 7/8 8 Cups 8 Saucers 8 Glass Tumblers 6 ¼H This whimsical, beautiful set will bring back memories of "The Night Before Christmas". The dinner plate has a red rim around the outer and inner edges. The background is cobalt blue depicting a snowy winter's night with a crescent moon. The skyline in the background is gray. Street lights surround a magical, snow-covered Christmas tree with red bulbs as two adorable Scottie dogs adorned in scarves look on. Santa is coming from behind the tree with presents. On the back is a circle with the crescent moon and stars. The words "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" are on the back along with the Registered name Noritake, 8100, Indonesia. The cups show the same Scottie dogs admiring the tree with street lights and colorful row houses. The saucers are white with a red rim. The gray "dog prints" that are near the Scotties in the cup continue to the saucer. The bottoms have the same stamp as the dinner plates. The glass tumblers are cobalt blue with a gold crescent moon, gold and white snow, gray skyline and the same snow-covered Christmas tree, Scotties and Santa. They are strikingly brilliant. On the bottom is stamped "Noritake 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.USA" The set has been used little and is in mint condition except for one chip on the outer edge of one dinner plate. The set will be professionally boxed, packaged, insured and shipped by UPS.
