Collector's Edition of 20 Norman Rockwell Procelain Dolls

Auction is for your choice of doll or dolls. - Highest bidder chooses first! Bid will be for one doll. If more than one doll is desired, bid is multiplied by the number of dolls purchased.

These dolls are handcrafted, all porcelain, made in Western Germany by the RumbleSeat Press, Inc. They are at least 25 years old and each doll is one in a series of exclusive limited edition collectibles that authentically duplicate the "true to life" detailing that Mr. Rockwell is remembered for. He endowed us with over 3,000 such portrayals of the yesterdays he wanted us to remember. Now for the first time his unforgetable boys and girls return to delight the world as loveable character dolls. Each doll is hand painted and numbered on the neck. The series began with 'Mimi" the hugable little girl with the green coat and red beret. The series of 20 dolls ended with Mr. Rockwell and the "Saturday Evening Post" paper boy.

I am selling these dolls for my mother and she only had them displayed in a curio. Never played with or handled. Some have hair nets and all accessories are included. Approximately 11" tall for the smaller ones, and 13" for the larger ones. Most have a stand for you to display them at your home. I do not have the dolls listed in order, but left to right in the pictures, they include Sally, Wilma, Laura, Nell with the cow, Suzy, Amy, Tina, Bess, Jr. and teddy, Polly, Davey, Jane, John & Mary swooning on the bench, Anne, Molly, Santa, Norman Rockwell, and the Doctor with Mimi and her doll which includes a story book. All dolls come in their orginal box except for Laura in the burgandy dress (#3 in the first picture). Some boxes do show some stress or wear due to age, but all are intact. Original prices were over $100 each and the larger dolls were over $200.00. These dolls will never again be produced - the mold has been broken!

I will give you the amount of postage after I know how many dolls you desire and to which zip code. Shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. Insurance is optional but I am not held responsible after boxes leave the post office. The winning bidder chooses which doll/dolls they want. You must email me with your choice or choices. No returns. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking.
