Norris Infill Cast Iron Smoothing Plane.
This is an A51 by the number on the brass frog visible in the pictures. This is an excellent example. It is in very good condition. It shows signs of lots of use. As the pictures show, the throat is very tight, just one example of the superlative quality of these tools. If you have never used one of these planes, you are in for a treat. Beautiful fine shavings come off with such ease. The second picture shows a small chip in the cast ring that adjusts the blade depth. The chip does not affect use.
