Catawba Valley NC wood fired Alkaline glaze stoneware two gallon jar signed NB on handle for Nelson Bass.Incised "2" under handle.Nice fully mature runny alkaline glaze.Condition:Chipping to edges of handles and two shallow chips on rim ( please see pics).12 1/2" tall x 22" around belly.5 3/4" across rim and 5 3/4" across bottom.Nice pc of Southern folk pottery by a well documented maker.High bidder pays $18.00 shipping and ins..Thanks.I also have listed a Burlon Craig face jug..N.C.
