This is an OBSOLETE wallet size badge from a police department that no longer exists and the city in Texas also no longer exists. This police department had only 4 officers when I got this badge from one of its officers in about 1987. The City of Northcrest, Texas was on the North East outskirts of Waco, Texas and the Texas Department of Public Safety Region 6 headquarters was in Northcrest. In 1958 the city of Northcrest was incorporated and it lasted for 40 years and in 1998 the city was abolished and merged with the city of LACY LAKEVIEW. This is your chance to own a piece of Texas Law Enforcement history and it is from a department which no longer exists. This wallet badge has a pin back NOT a clip back. The badge is silver in color with blue lettering "POLICE OFFICER NORTHCREST TX " and has the State of Texas seal in the center.
