This is a wax candle Wizard Santa sculpted by an artist at the Northern Lights Candles studio in Wellsville, N.Y. Each candle is is individually hand made, so no two are ever exactly alike. I can't quite make out the artist's signature, but it looks like it could be L. Culber. I call this one the Wizard Santa because he holds a magic wand and crystal ball. The natural wood wand is topped with a white wax star sprinkled with multi colored glitter. The crystal ball that he holds firmly in his left hand is a shiny opaque dark grey color, and appears to be made of glass or possibly a hard plastic. (I can't safely remove it to tell for sure.) The Santa is just shy of 7" tall. His robe and hood are bright red, with white trim on the tip of the tall, pointed hood. His luxurious white beard flows to the bottom of his robe, and has a gently rippled edge and a little curl at the bottom. His wick has never been lit. As you can see in the photo, his original sticker is on the bottom, signed by the artist. I purchased him new in 1992 and handwrote 1992 on his sticker. He's in excellent original condition (except for the handwritten date on the sticker). He comes complete with his Certificate of Authenticity and information card from Andy Glanzman w/ envelope, original hang tag, and original box. I displayed this Santa for three or four seasons, read more
