You are bidding on a late 19th century Northern Plains rectangular knife case. The case is fully beaded on one side with old Czech seed beeads. Colors used are cobalt blue, dark transparent blue, chalk white, red-white-inside and some pale rose. The color combination is stunning. The fringes at the bottom of the sheath are decorated with various items like thimbles, tin cones and trade beads. Length of the case is 10", width at the top is 3 1/2", the fringes are ca 9" long. A fantastic artifact to use with your outfit or to simply decorate your home.
