A NO RESERVE auction for this circa 1970's lovely Alaskan Eskimo jar-shaped covered basket of beach grass woven by Anna Gemma Smart , as indicated by the pencil inscription on the back of the label (which will come with the basket). It is very tightly woven with dyed geometric designs. It is about 5" high, to the tip of the cover's knob handle, and 3 1/2" in diameter. Apart from the rather faded colors of the geometric designs and the loss of two or three stitches on the interior lip of the cover (please see picture with the arrow pointer), the basket is in very good overall condition. Domestic shipping cost will be $8 inclusive of first class postage, insurance and handling charge. International shipping is about twice as much and please do email me for quotes on your specific international locations. ***Since i'm also offering another similar Eskimo basket (bowl shaped), combined shipping is available if the two go to one buyer*** Thank you for checking out my offer.
