What we have for auction today is an 1936 Northwestern DeLuxe vending machine. This very complicated machine was designed to work with both pennys and nickles. Both sides appear to be working fine. No keys present for both top lid and bottom coin departments. Original glass globe exhibits a few pontil/glass blower marks and looks great with no damage. Has original decal - slightly worn. This is an awesome looking vendor that should be a part of every Northewestern collection. Some paint touch-up to right front side on edge by marquee (see picture # 4). Other very light paint wear. Truly outstanding!! Stands about 17 1/2" tall. This vendor is becoming somewhat more difficult to find. Machine is somewhat heavy. Please refer to Bill Enes' "Silent Salesmen Too" - page 110 for more info. We recently had consigned to us A VERY IMPRESSIVE COLLECTION of about 35 vendors - gumball and peanut - all dating from the early 1900s thru the early 1950s. All of these machines have been untampered with and in storage for the past 15-20 years. These machines will all be listed on eBay over the next few weeks. We will be taking inventory and giving the exterior surfaces light cleanings prior to auction. ALL MACHINES TO BE SOLD AS - IS - SO, PLEASE E-MAIL QUESTIONS AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO HONESTLY ANSWER YOU. Please bookmark our site as the remaining machines run the gamut,.. from common, to somewhat scarce, to exceedingly rare. Be on the lookout as will will have a 1902 Mills Windill (nice), Columbus Model 38 ("Tri-More"), rare "Selmor" roulette gaming machine, Northwestern 1/5 cent 1937 vendor, Rocket to the Moon 1950s vender, Hawkeye in original cast iron/gray finish, numerous Pulvers, just to name a few,..... Payment for this machine is required from winning bidder within 7 business days. Please don't bid if you can't meet htis very reasonable request. Shipping insurance is included in the total shipping cost.
