Welcome to my auction! This auction is for an Apple Green Carnival Glass Plate. This is the "Three Fruits" pattern made by the Northwood Glass Company in the early 1900's. It is marked with the Northwood N . You can reference this pattern in the Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass, 9th Edition on page 251. This Gorgeous Plate is almost 9" in diameter and almost 1 3/4" tall. This is going to be really hard to describe. The base color looks like bright Apple Green. But the Aqua Blue and Pinks are so strong, it makes it look Emerald Green. The back is plain, which is pretty rare, and really lets the colors shine through. It has a stretchy, satiny texture, which seems to be on some of Northwood's most beautiful pieces. It has yellow, orange, bright pink - a gorgeous array of colors. All of my pictures were taken outside, in natural lighting, without a flash or enhancement of any kind. I used different backgrounds to bring out the amazing colors. It has a dye run inside the glass, and a few very small, shallow and smooth flea bites on the base. I also see some wear on the fruit. I've tried to take close-ups of all of these things - No other chips, cracks or repairs. Check out my other items ! Payment is expected within 10 days; unless other arrangements are made, items will be re-listed. Payment methods accepted: Paypal Money
