***GREAT IDEA FOR THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE FOR VALENTINE'S DAY OR ANY SPECIAL OCCASION OR AN EXCELLENT ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION*** Up for auction is this beautiful amethyst NORTHWOOD GRAPE AND CABLE PLATE with a basketweaved back measuring approx 9"x1.5" tall at the rim which is hard to find . This plate is in GREAT condition with no chips ,,, cracks,,, or nicks ,,, This is "ONE GREAT PIECE OF CARNIVAL GLASS". It would make a beautiful collection for any carnival glass lover. I always try to pick up good carnival glass. Please email with any questions regarding any items listed. I do package very carefully and include delivery confirmation. However, once the item is given to the shipper, I can no longer be responsible for this item. Insurance, though not required, is highly recommended . Carnival Glass is made by spraying the pressed glass with metallic oxides, forming an iridescent coating on the surface of the glass that reflects the colors of the rainbow. Photographs can't totally reproduce the effect of light hitting the glass. Ie, Flea-bites, straw marks and other manufacturing flaws are normal for carnival glass and is not mentioned .
