Up for auction from an old estate is a SCARCE, BEAUTIFUL, old 9" NORTHWOOD ROSE SHOW PLATE in the FANTASTIC ELECTRIC BLUE COLOR! IT IS STUNNING! The iridescence is outstanding! TAKE A LOOK AT THIS PLATE FOLKS! YOU WILL FIND NO FINER EXAMPLE! The owner was an avid Carnival Glass Collector with over 300 pieces in their collection, so this piece has been well cared for and VERY PROUDLY DISPLAYED! This old beauty is AWESOME in every way! A showcase piece certain to be a highlight of any collection. No cracks, chips, repairs, loss of iridescence, flea bites, I can find nothing to mention at all aside from a few very faint stretch marks and a few very tiny enclosed bubbles. That is IT! 9 years ago, David Doty's 1998 Price Guide listed this quality piece as selling for up to $2500.00 and you will find no finer example today! Check out the picture with the light shining through this piece! Talk about WOW! The overall color of the plate is gorgeous! The mold is VERY crisp. I think the pictures say it all....please take a look at them. At least I hope they do it justice as this piece is hard to represent properly. This has been a showcase piece!
