Up for auction is a small bowl in the Chrysanthemum Sprig pattern by Northwood circa 1900. The color is blue opaque often referred to as blue custard glass with blue staining and gold gilding. The bowl is 2 3/4" in height and 5" in width. The bowl is in excellent condition with no damage. Surprisingly, the Greek key design along the foot edge is 99%+ intact. This bowl is well preserved and does not have the typical nicking of the Greek key design. The blue staining shows only minimal wear with 98%+ remaining. The gold gilding shows minimal wear, primarily on the rim, with 95%+ remaining. The bowl is marked with the Northwood script Here is a chance for you to add a choice piece your collection. Please note that glassware of the Victorian era was manufactured under conditions that were not as strict compared to today's quality control standards. As a consequence, there may be bubbles or residue within the glass itself, straw marks, annealling lines, or tool marks present. These conditions are not considered damage. All issues that might affect the value of the glass have been disclosed. Any issues not disclosed are honest oversights. Please ask any questions regarding the condition of the glass before the auction end. Shipping is determined by the weight of the item and the packing per the shipping calculator in Ebay. All items
