Up for auction is a covered sugar bowl in the Encore "Jewel and Flower" pattern made by Northwood Glass circa 1904. The color is canary (vaseline) opalescent with gold decoration. The covered sugar is in very good condition with just one chip located on the side of one of the upper scallops. The gold decoration is also in good condition but does show some wear commensurate with age. My camera does not take the best quality pictures, but you can rest assured that the covered sugar bowl is genuine and not a reproduction. I do my best to note any issues with the glass that I sell. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I am more than happy to provide any level of detail requested. Just make sure that you ask all questions within 48 hours prior to auction end since I may not be able to response on short notice. Victorian glass was manufactured under conditions that are far less in quality control standards than today's environment. Consequently, t may be imperfections in the glass such as bubbles, straw marks, specks of residue within the glass itself, slight wobbles, etc. These imperferctions are not considered damage. If you need clarification on any of the finer points on the item, please ask questions. I accept Paypal as payment. Payment must be received within 7 days. Shipping and handling costs are a read more
