Welcome to my auction! It finally got warm enough to take pictures outside. I took 327 pictures, so please be sure to watch out for all of the beautiful Carnival Glass I have to list. Please check my other listings for items you might like! This auction is for an Amethyst Carnival Glass Covered Candy. This is the "Grape & Cable" pattern made by the Northwood Glass Company in the early 1900's. It is marked with the Northwood N in a circle. You can reference this pattern in the Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass, 9th Edition on page 122. The Book calls this a Sweetmeat. It stands 9" tall on an octagon base. It has beautiful colors - even though I took these pictures inside, I hope you can see the colors. Turquoise, green, magenta, orange, yellow and more. It has a little chip hidden under the lid and one on the very bottom. (see closeups of both) They are both teeny. No other chips, cracks or repairs. Check out my other items !
