SO ENJOY AND HAVE SOME FUN! ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a old and SCARCE Northwood GRAPE AND CABLE Dresser Tray that was made as part of a Dresser Set that Northwood produced back in the early 1900's. The Base Glass color is very hard to find GREEN. This specimen displays the best kind of iridescence. If you look over the photographs showing the iridescence...the piece doesn't give up the Base Glass color until it is pointed at a light source. A MOST impressive visual effect! As the photographs show...the piece displays Stunning, Vibrant Multi-Color iridescence all through the display surface. T just are not many green Dresser Trays out t and finding them with exceptional iridescence and in excellent condition is a tough, tough find! All told it is a PREMIUM specimen...you will be hard pressed to find a finer example anyw, anytime. If you have been looking to add one of these beauties to your collection or have been looking to upgrade...give this one serious consideration. The photos show you well what it has to offer in terms of iridescent quality...but it is even better in your hands. It is hard to capture the richness of Northwood in photographs. This one does not carry the Northwood Mark, I have yet to see a Dresser Tray that did...and it is well documented that Northwood didn't mark 1/2 the pieces they made. This is absolutely an authentic Northwood piece...I guarantee it 100%! Vintage Northwood at its VERY FINEST! It is every bit as beautiful as the photos show off and then some. My photos are taken outside in natural light. I never use a flash or props. I never enhance photos, never have, never will. If the piece looks awesome in the photos...that is because...it is! What you see is what you will get! ITEM MEASUREMENTS: The piece is 11 inches long. 7 1/2 inches wide. 7/8 of an inch tall. ITEM CONDITION: T are NO chips, cracks or repairs on this Ultimately Beautiful Northwood Dresser Tray! THE BASE: The mold seams are barely t to the touch. The bottom of the base shows just a hint of shelf wear...common to old glass and nothing uncommon whatsoever. The piece sits flat, level and solid on a flat surface, will giggle very slightly if heavily manipulated. Truly Exceptional condition. THE INTERIOR: I can't make out any wear on the interior at all. The pattern mold is very crisp. Hard to find 100 year old pieces of glass in this kind of condition. THE EXTERIOR: I can't make out any wear on the exterior at all. THE EDGE: The Edge Treatment on the piece is very well done. Great, even shape all the way around. Fantastic visual appeal. That is all I can find on this Extraordinary, SCARCE Northwood Dresser Tray. The Pristine condition and marvelous iridescent qualities on this one are so pleasing to view on display. A piece that isn't seen every day...certainly not one that every else has. The visual quality is Grand...it is one that will light up and enhance your shelf space. It is quite obvious it has been well maintained over the last century...kept as a Show Case piece its entire life in my opinion. This specimen is a TOP NOTCH investment quality piece...certainly one to upgrade with...give it some serious consideration. It is MOST IMPRESSIVE on the shelf! Please look over those photos again. It is every bit as gorgeous as it looks and then some. My auction format is very plain and I mean it to be that way.
