These eight wonderful Amethyst punch cups were produced by Northwood Glass. The pattern is called Grape and Cable and it was produced in 1910. Each of these cups are marked with their encircled N . I had thought about dividing these cups into two sets but I bought them together and think they should stay together. According to my books these cups came in two sizes. I believe they are the larger size. They measure roughly 5-1/4" from handle to rim, are 3-1/8" across and stand just over 2-1/2" tall. They are vintage glass and do have the usual factory imperfections such as trapped air bubbles and a few imperfections in the glass under the applied iridescent finish. Some are present on the rim but they are not nips. One cup has a chip to it's base. I thought about leaving it out of the set but in case you want it for display purposes I've left it in since the coloring does match the other cups. The other seven cups base are all in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or nips! The rim of five cups are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or nips! One cup rim has a very tiny nip. One cup has three or four very small nips, probably from having a cup stacked inside it. The last cup I will say has a slight nip. I ran my nail around it and found it, set the cup down and then had to search through the other cups for it. It is that small and probably not worth mentioning but I want to for accuracy sake. Actually none of these nips are terribly apparent and they by no means diminish they wonderful display qualities. Other than the one chip you can see very well in the photographs I've provided you these cups are in remarkable condition considering they are almost 100 years old. If you are SO lucky to have a punch bowl and base and need a set of cups to complete your set I know you will be very pleased to have these. They are beautiful pieces of vintage Northwood carnival glass and I hope you enjoy them! Thank you for looking! >>>>>The book value of each cup in 2003 was $30.00 each!<<<<<
