for auction is a rare investment grade Carnival Glass Bowl --Three Fruits Medallion in Ice Green having that lovely stretchy iridescent treatment that Northwood was so famous for. Northwood was the King of the pastel ice treatments of which this is an excellent example. I have taken pictures outside in natural light and indoors without flash to show off its enhancing stippled effect and the fact that the apples, peaches and cherries have no wear on them which is rare in itself. The reverse shows the meander pattern and the 3 spatula feet are perfect right down to the nubs. I can not find even the usual straw marks or bubbles but be assured this is genuine Northwood as it is unsigned. It meaures 3 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches across at it widest point. It lies flat and is deserving of a prominent place in your collection. Offered with No Reserve and a very low starting price not indicative of its book value which is well above $500--highest bidder will get this beauty shipped securely to your home.
