Northwood HEARTS And FLOWERS Opalescent Compote in Light Blue. It is not an aqua base color. T is no green tint to the glass itself. Any you see is the light coming through the iridescence. The glass is a light blue, possibly considered "ice" or "powder" blue. You be the judge. Amazing multi-colored iridescence and fantastic opalescent finish. It is not marked, has no logo. Top measures 6.5 inches across with a 3 inch base and stands 6 inches high. Has the typical imperfections of Carnival Glass of the period, i.e. mold seams, bubbles, straw marks, and in very good condition. No chips or cracks. It has two tiny fleabites on the underside of the base edge, but not visible when upright. (I am so confident that this is a fine piece that if you are the winning bidder of this piece and after you receive it, then decide you don't want it within three days, if you pay for shipping & insurance back to me, in same condition received, I will refund your money.) Don't miss out on such an extraordinary item! Rather than placing a Reserve on this item it has a reasonable starting price. You may be aware of a similar compote listed on a famous carnival glass site that sold at auction for many many m ore times this amount. This is truly a collector's piece!
