Northwood Carnival Glass Stunning Electric Purple Peacocks on the Fence This piece absolutely screams! Beautiful Electric Peacocks on the Fence Plate with gorgeous, striking iridescence. This plate dances! In one of the photos, I enlarged it and then lightened it five times to show the imperfection on the back side. I am not familiar with the proper carnival Glass terms so I don't know what that is considered to be. The photo w the plate appears red is not showing any imperfections but rather the very bright early afternoon Southern California sun. I held the plate directly in front of the sun for that picture. The reference for this rare collector's piece as listed in last year's "Doty's Guide to Carnival Glass" sets the value at $3,800.00! Shazam! Wouldn't that be grand? ;-) Any questions and I will do my best to answer or to provide more photographs. Shipping cost includes double boxing and insurance. Thank-you very much for looking!
I've had a few inquiries as to whether on not this plate has been cleaned. If anyone would like to suggest the proper way to do that - or even if I should, I'd be grateful. I'm also happy to send any additional pictures requested.
