This is a Beautiful Purple Northwood Peacocks Ribbed back plate, ca 1912-1914. The irridescence is vibrant soft purple, aqua, gold, soft pink, and green. I have tried to capture the color in the photos. It is a beautiful piece of glass. The back irridescence is silvery, t are some rough places with what looks like extra specks of glass they are irridized so are not chips or nicks, and t are some specks of irridescence pooled. ********************** This piece is not signed but it is Northwood. In the spirit of full disclosure t is chip/sliver on the back of the plate that starts in the middle of one point and ends in the middle of a 2nd point, it isn't visible from the front of the plate. T is one other t are other points that feel sharp to the feel, but I can't see a chip or missing irridescence. ****** I have captured the chip in a photo. The irridescence is not even on the place but it is accurately depicted in the photos. ******* I will accept PayPal payment only. Paypal is free to buyers. I must be notified immediately of your intent to return the item - at the time you open the item if you find undisclosed damage, please take a photo of the damage and e-mail it to me. Contact me within 24 hours of receipt, or I will not refund your purchase price, but may be willing to refund part of your purchase price.
