This is a wonderful large bowl produced by Northwood Glass. The interior pattern is called Stippled Rays, smooth and stipple rays radiating from the center towards the rim and a beaded design capping them off and on the exterior is Northwood's basketweave pattern. If you don't know who made a piece but you can see a basketweave pattern on the exterior it's Northwood. The base color of the glass is Amethyst and it is marked on the base with their encircled N. This bowls measures 9-1/4" across and stands 3-3/8" tall. The applied iridescent finish is in overall very good condition with one small spot you can see in the photos and a couple of tiny scratches. This is vintage glass and it is used glass so minor things of that nature really are to be expected. I really like how t are rings of color that run around the rim like Northwood's Rainbow pattern. Gold, fuchsia and green really glow on the finish! T are no cracks or nips on the base or rim but t is one small problem. It is missing a tooth but I have never held that against it because the coloring is wonderful on it. And as always, I have included multiple photos so you can take a real good look!
