Selling is a beautiful White Opalescent ~ POINSETTIA LATTICE ~ Ruffle BOWL * * * * * * * Description : I believe this piece to be made by the Northwood Glass Co. around 1907. It can be seen in the book " Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass by Bill Edwards & Mike Carwile..4th edition". The pattern consists of poinsettia flowers against a lattice work background, with a nice white opalescent ruffled rim. This was a beautiful estate find! Measurements : This footed bowl measures 8 1/2" wide and sits aprox. 3 " tall. Condition : The opalescent bowl is in great condition...no chips or cracks! Upon close inspection you will see a tiny speck of brown material that is in the glass ...done during the making of this old piece. **see 2nd closeup photo top center. A Nice Opalescence !
