Norway Viking Ox Horn VesselThis traditional drinking vessel with pewter dragon feet and rim cuff was handcrafted in Norway using a real ox horn . It represents an artistic blend of natural horn and fine polished pewter . Each ox horn is unique in its growth structure, form and color and must be treated individually. The pewter accents must be formed, fitted and mounted by hand . The pewter fittings are hand cast and burnished by hand to a mirror finish. Numerous meticulously detailed individual parts and time consuming procedures were involved in transforming this ox horn into a work of art.
