I will add a complete description soon. I will ship this superb set of older John Deere USA made combination wrenches anywhere in the world and will accept any form of payment for them. I noticed these gorgeous wrenches at the local John Deere dealer in 1990 after they had been discontinued They had been replaced with lesser quality wrenches from Tai wan that did not have the distinctive 2 leg deer logo on them. I figured it was a "now or never" opportunity to collect a set of beautiful John Deere wrenches in new condition so I bought the 1/4" and 5/16" sizes which were the only ones the dealer in Belgrade Montana had left in stock. I found several more wenches throughout the state of Montana. Four came from Livingston, three more came from Culbertson, three more came from Circle and two more came from Glendive. I found the 1-1/16" wrench at the JD dealer in Ridgeton North Dakota so I bought it from them and had it shipped to me. I used two obsolete parts search systems to look throughout the USA and Canada but was never able to find the 9/16" wrench. Evidently the 9/16" is the most commonly used and most frequently lost wrench of the group so that made it nearly impossible for me to find one in any dealer's inventory at that time. This auction consists of 15 wrenches from 1/4" through 1-1/4" in brand new and un-used condition plus the 9/16" wrench that has seen less than the typical usage. I bought 4 sets of used wrenches at farm sales and from individuals to get this nice used 9/16" wrench for this set when I was putting it together 21 years ago. Perhaps I am the only person in the world that was crazy enough back then to buy and save tools like these because I never found anyone else that did what I did. The 9/16" wrench has seen only moderate or light use and still displays very nicely. I bought the 7/16" as being a new wrench from a John Deere dealer but on closer examination just now it looks like it might have been used just a tiny bit. Sometimes the people at a dealership would need a tool to assemble something like a pedal tractor and would often grab a new tool from the display rack, use it a bit and put it back on the rack. The other 14 wrenches are, without a doubt, brand new and have beautiful chrome on them with absolutely no signs of ever having seen any use. Please remember that these tools were meant to be used, not collected and preserved, and were normally shipped loose in a box with other tools and parts so they all have some very tiny scratches on them. I had planned to have the chrome, nickel and copper plating stripped from the 9/16" and have it re-chromed. If one did that to the 9/16" and 7/16" wrenches in this set, you could wind up with what might be the finest set of these very special wrenches left in existence. I believe these wrenches were made by either the Bonney Tool Company or another domestic manufacturer between 1976 and 1989. I have another partial set of identical wrenches for sale here on eBay but they all have lower part numbers than these wrenches have.
