NOS VINTAGE RETRO 70'S 80'S TORTOISE P3 EYEGLASS FRAMES Description FRAME This is a classic P3, semi-round carbon fiber frame with spring hinges. This shape defined an American generation. This style is deeply associated with terms like preppy, yuppie, professor, collegiate, intellectual, etc... The frame is a deep demi-amber tortoise shell horn rim finish, with spring hinges. This frame also has silicone nose pad inserts built flush with the frame - so it is very light (carbon), very strong (carbon fiber, spring hinges), and very secure (silicone no-slip pad inserts). This is the Deauville #4, Martin Copeland(Rhode Island) frame made around 1985. This New Old Stock frame is very well made.
