If you were in Dublin last August for the 2012 season opening game with Navy you likely saw students wearing shirts with the letters IRELA followed by the ND logo. That clever use of the logo inspired me to design this plaque as a gift/memento of the trip to Dublin for all the family members who made the trip with me. This is one of the last two plaques remaining from a very limited edition. It is carved from solid cherry wood and measures 15 1/2 by 5 inches. The background is lightly stained to highlight the natural cherry finish of the letters. It has a keyhole type slot for hanging and can also stand on it's own. This will make a great gift for any Irish fan, particularly anyone who enjoyed that great time in Ireland.
