Lot of 2 incredible Art Nouveau pins. Both pins are 14kt gold, with their original finish. The pin with the sapphire and peridot is signed 14 K D. The sapphire in the middle is synthetic, not uncommon for the period. It measures 1" across and weighs 6.4grams. The other pin is unmarked. The diamonds total .25cts, all old european cuts, SI1-2 in clarity, F-G in color. The ruby in the center is synthetic, again, not uncommon for the period. The black opals are amazing with an extreme amount of fire and visible matrix. It measures just over 1" across and weighs 5.5grams. Under magnification the peridots have a few tiny flea bites. Other than that, the pins are in pristine condition. Circa 1915.

You, as the buyer, can decide how fabulously beautiful something is. It's my job to provide good pictures and thorough descriptions. Appraisals and sizing.I don't offer appraisals with my auctions. It's in the buyers best interest to have an independent valuation of an item. I also don't like auctions that offer over inflated appraisals on their jewelry. I think it's cheesy and insulting. That said, I do stand behind my diamond grades and my gemstone identification. If the item is a ring, I will state in the auction if it can be sized. We don't offer sizing, which helps us keep our cost down and allows us to offer auctions at no reserve. I don't send second chance offers, or partake in off ebay transactions.
