If you like the flowing fluid lines of Art Nouveau with a contemporary styling, this bracelet is your best bet!
This sterling and marcasite bracelet IS from the Nouveau era, yet has the simplicity and elegance of any modern designer piece. Great for dress-up, too (Renaissance-style or even Gothic). The bracelet is hallmarked, too, .835 sterling, and with a maker's logo (a circle with some initials within), but I have not had time a lot of time to research it. From the little bit I did, considering the silver content and the materials used, this bracelet might be European in origin, possibly Scandinavian. I don't think this is a Theodor Fahrner (although, of course, I wish it were!). Any info regarding its origin would be appreciated. From an estate sale, with other very old, first half of the 20th-century pieces. Our bracelet is 7" long and nearly 1/2" wide, with links that look like lotus flower outlines. The flower links are antiqued sterling, and encrusted with marcasite. The bracelet has a hidden push-in clasp. It is marked "A835" and the logo maker's mark on the "tongue" of the clasp. For its age, in very good condition, although I did notice about a couple of tiny marcasite missing. I forgot to take a closeup picture of the logo, so that'll be coming up within a day or two. Offered at only $1 starting price, so go for it. This week, I will be posting all pieces (except one) at just a starting price of $1, so check out the rest of my stuff! Please add $5 flat shipping fee, for Priority shipping. If you wish to go First Class, it is $3, unless weight becomes an issue. Insurance is optional. I prefer Paypal, but will accept Postal Money Order also (please, no grocery or convenience store money orders or bank drafts). International bidders, please e-mail me for shipping rates (it usually runs between $6-$8). Bracelet logo is posted. Sorry for the delay.
